October 27, 2026 - Release Notes
Fundraising: Pledge Accounting
Pledges now post to your books as soon as they're committed, without waiting for payments:
- Booked at commitment: The full amount is recorded as revenue, with a matching receivable for what the donor owes.
- Edits stay accurate: Change a pledge's category, amount, campaign, or date, and the original entry is reversed and replaced. Nothing is erased.
- Payments reduce the balance: Each installment pays down what's owed instead of counting as new revenue.
- Daily Report section: Commitments, category changes, write-offs, and payments, grouped by Donation Category.
To get started, map your Pledge Receivable account in your accounting settings.

Ticketing: Membership Shared Emails
When members share an email address, Muse now asks which member is signing in, so everything they do on that visit is credited to the right person. Members can switch profiles anytime from the account menu, and everyone still sees the whole membership's activity on their Account page.

Operations: POS Flexible Refunds
You can now give partial refunds right in Muse, without going to Stripe:
- Refund by line item: Choose how many units to refund, like 1 of 3 tickets, or a specific dollar amount, like $10 of a $25 item.
- Refund method: Send the refund back to the original card, or give it as cash or gift card credit.
- Refund reasons: Pick from a list of reasons you set up in Floor Admin → Settings.

Operations: POS Transaction Search and Filters
The Transactions tab now has more ways to find a transaction:
- Any date range: Search any timeframe, not just 7-day windows.
- All users and stations: Results include transactions from every user and station.
- Transaction Type filter: Filter by General Admission, Membership, Program, and other types.
- More search fields: Search by name, email, the last four digits of the card, or transaction ID.

Operations: POS Dymo Label Sizes
Merchandise labels can now print in three sizes instead of one. Set a default size for your whole museum, then change it for a subcategory or a single item when you need a smaller label. The small label fits only the barcode and SKU, and nothing changes until you pick a new size.

Settings: Two-Factor Authentication for Staff
You can now require staff to enter a one-time code, sent to their email, after they enter their password. It's turned off by default and applies only to staff. Visitors buying tickets, buying memberships, or making donations are never asked for a code.
